Job Summary:
The Human Resource (HR) Assistant reports to the Moroni Turkey Processing (MTP) HR Director and administers various HR processes. The Job is part time, with the possible of Full Time. Interacts with Plant personnel and assists HR Generalist and Director in maintaining rules and standards set for the HR Department.
Essential Functions:
1. Assists with benefits and communicating benefit information to employees and assisting in Enrollment.
2. Assist in recruitment effort for all non-exempt employees.
3. Participates in department meetings and attends other meetings and seminars as assigned.
4. Assists in the evaluation of reports, decisions and results of the HR department in relation to established goals..
5. Maintains HR department employee files.
6. Performs other duties as assigned.

3. Ability to proficiently use a computer and various software packages.
4. Ability to develop and maintain an accurate filing system.
5. Ability to provide an open-door environment; maintain an approachable demeanor.

Qualifications:
1. Excellent clerical skills required.
2. Computer experience including word processing, spreadsheet and database required.
3. Prior Human Resources experience is preferred but not required.
