The purpose of this part-time position is to provide supervision of the programs in the absence of the full-time staff. This is accomplished by ensuring that the rules of the facility are followed, supervising other part-time staff, providing excellence customer service and completing the duties as assigned by the coordinator of the program.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
Read to gain an understanding of all program rules, facility/program policies, and program schedules.Ensure that the program requirements are fulfilled. Assume responsibility for all job duties in the absence of other assigned part-time staff and volunteers to include scorekeeping and coaching. Ensure the safety of the area of play and all available equipment. Set-up, break down and store all equipment utilized for program.Efficiently communicate and interpret all pertinent information of the program to spectators, staff and participants. Report all injuries of participants and staff; to follow the protocol and policy of the department.Secure all spaces at the completion of the event or program. Ensure that all areas utilized for the program are cleaned; to include restrooms. Effectively communicate all issues in a timely manner with the direct supervisor of the program.Attend and participate in scheduled program staff meetings. Submit all hours worked to the direct supervisor by the specified date.
