Overview
PITT OHIO, a $900 million, high service, highly profitable, transportation solutions provider offering SUPPLY CHAIN, LTL and TRUCKLOAD services is seeking a Supply Chain Operations Summer Intern. This internship position is located at our corporate headquarters in the Strip District area of Pittsburgh, PA.
Responsibilities
• Support operations in various business segments including Logistic Planning, Customer Service, Dedicated Fleet Operations, International services including ocean container movement and scheduling, invoicing, and document reconciliation.
• Successfully coordinate the transportation of goods through all modes of transportation Pitt Ohio SCS offers• Learn the ins and outs of listening to customer needs and creating solutions• Work on customer supply chain map project• Work with LMS team to consolidate and track outbound customer calls via Loop
Qualifications
• Must be majoring in Business administration or Supply Chain• Completed at least Sophomore year at a University/College• Minimum GPA of at least 3.2• Must be competent and proficient in Microsoft Office Software products• • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams• Outstanding time management and organizational skills• Fluent command in the English language is required to efficiently communicate with internal and external customers
