Job Description
Job Summary:
The compliance officer is responsible for ensuring an organization adheres to all applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies by monitoring business operations, identifying potential compliance risks, developing and implementing compliance procedures, conducting audits, and educating employees on compliance standards to prevent legal violations and maintain ethical business practices.
Hours:
Monday – Friday 8:00 am – 4:30 pm
Salary:
Negotiable based on experience

Job Requirements
Responsibilities:
Follow and comply with all aspects of the department's work procedures and policies.
Properly update client files and log appropriate information in computer system.
Appropriately handle both inbound and outbound telephone calls.
Duties will include but not be limited to data entry, mailings, scanning and copying.
Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications and Skills:
High School diploma or equivalent.
At least 1 year of office experience.
Requires functional knowledge of the legal process and PC software to include Microsoft Excel and Word.
Strong problem-solving skills.
Good history of work attendance and longevity.
Excellent verbal and written communication in a customer service environment.
Ability to work well in a team environment.
Ability to positively and effectively interact with management and staff.
Ability to multi-task in high paced environment.
