Responsibilities
- Payroll Processing:
- Process weekly payroll (certified) for employees, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
- Calculate wages, deduct taxes, and process other withholdings such as benefits and charitable contributions.
- Issue paychecks or direct deposits and manage payroll-related inquiries.
- Payroll Record Keeping:
- Maintain accurate payroll records and employee information.
- Ensure compliance with payroll laws and company policies.
- AP/AR Responsibilities:
- Assist with Accounts Payable tasks such as reviewing and processing invoices, ensuring timely payments to vendors.
- Support Accounts Receivable functions by verifying customer payments and maintaining accurate records.
- Reporting and Audits:
- Prepare payroll reports for management and assist with payroll tax filings and audits.
- Reconcile payroll to the general ledger and monthly bank statements.
- Communication and Support:
- Address employee payroll inquiries and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Collaborate with HR and accounting teams to manage employee changes like new hires and terminations.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience: 1-2 years of experience in payroll processing, with additional experience in AP/AR preferred.
- Skills:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and payroll software (e.g., ADP, QuickBooks).

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
