Duties and Responsibilities
- Teach introductory undergraduate courses in Computer Science
- Provide service to the university, college, and community
- Exhibit a commitment to student success
- Participation in recruitment and retention efforts
- Provide support to other institutional efforts
Education and Experience
Required Education and Experience – Time of Hire
- Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field from an accredited institution of higher learning
Preferred Education and Experience –
- PhD in Computer Science or a related field from an accredited institution of higher learning
- Experience teaching undergraduate Computer Science courses
- Evidence of exceptional undergraduate teaching
- Industry experience in Computer Science
