Job Summary
Our Company based in Pittsburgh, PA. (Neville Island) is seeking an AP/AR Assistant to to support our ongoing growth. Apply only if you have AP/AR experience and can process a very high volume of transactions daily.
Responsibilities and Duties
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Accounts Receivable:
- Enter information for AP/AR into the ERP system
- Scan checks into the banking system for daily deposits
- Conduct overdue collections via phone and email to resolve outstanding balances
- Review credit availability for customer orders
- research and resolve customer claims regarding invoices, returns and bad checks
- Maintain customer profile database
- Assist with portal invoicing for customer payments
- Mail invoices
Accounts Payable:
- Compile and sort invoices, bill of ladings, and freight bills substantiating business transactions
- Review and match purchase orders to invoices and convert into ERP system
- Code approved invoices to prepare for entry into the ERP system
- Work with supply chain to resolve purchase order discrepancies
- Prepare weekly checks and ACH payments
- File and maintain financial documents including check stubs, invoices and bank receipts
- Support accounting functions
- Other duties and projects as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum of one year of AP/AR experience
- Must be able to process a high volume of transactions daily.
- Must have strong attention to detail
- Must be committed to high-quality work
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel)programs
- Must have familiarity with basic accounting principals
- A working knowledge of ERP systems is preferred
- Experience with financial software preferred

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
