Job Description:
As the Landscape Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of landscaping around the clubhouse and surrounding areas. Your role will involve maintaining the aesthetic beauty of the grounds, ensuring that the landscaping complements the overall environment, and enhancing the visual appeal of the golf course’s public spaces.
Requirements:Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the maintenance and design of all landscaping around the clubhouse, ensuring a consistent, high-quality appearance year-round.
- Develop and implement seasonal planting plans and landscape designs that are in line with the golf course's overall aesthetic.
- Collaborate with golf course management and other departments to schedule maintenance and events, ensuring minimal disruption to course play or guest experience.
- Ensure that all landscape equipment is properly maintained and in good working condition.
- Manage landscape budgets, ordering necessary supplies, and keeping within financial constraints.
- Monitor and enforce safety protocols and environmental guidelines on the grounds.
- Respond to guest feedback, addressing concerns and making improvements where necessary.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in landscape management, preferably in a golf course or similar recreational setting.
- Strong knowledge of horticulture, landscape design, and irrigation systems.
- Experience in small team management and leadership.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments and interact with guests when needed.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and physically maintain a landscape.
- A keen eye for detail and the ability to assess and improve the aesthetic quality of the grounds.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Knowledge of sustainable and environmentally conscious landscaping practices is a plus.
- A degree or certification in Horticulture, Landscape Architecture, or related field is preferred but not required.
