PITTSBURGH INSTITUTE OF AERONAUTICS, founded in 1929 is a nationwide leader in aviation maintenance and electronics training and is currently seeking an enthusiastic and motivated High School Recruiter/Outside Admissions Rep (10 Months/year) to work remotely in the Pittsburgh, PA area. This position requires frequent travel throughout Pennsylvania, Ohio, New York and West Virginia area high schools, career fairs, and community events to present information on an aviation education in accordance with school’s accrediting standards.
This position, while remote, requires that you live within an hour of our Pittsburgh, PA Campus. Initial training will occur onsite at the Pittsburgh campus.
The work schedule follows the typical local High School calendar with 2 months off in the summer.

Responsibilities:
- Schedule classroom presentations to continue with expanding lead generation in a multi-state area.
- Present a PowerPoint of the Aviation industry with engaging material throughout the year to high school students and faculty.
- Develop and maintain relationships with prospective high schools, counselors, teachers, and the community at large.
- Utilize CRM (Salesforce) to communicate and outreach with high school personnel.
- Promote and coordinate with Admissions team to participate in Open Houses, field trips and special events at PIA campus.
- Direct the completion of leads in the CRM (Salesforce).
- Represent PIA at career days, career fairs, Air Shows, and community events.
- Travel to and from high schools and career fairs.
- Research and schedule worthwhile high school classes and programs to provide viable leads.
- Conduct lead generating communication and follow-ups.
- Motivated self-starter who excels working independently and enjoys being a road warrior.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Comfort with use of technology including laptop, projector, presentation software, and databases.
- Ability to establish and maintain positive and professional relationships with personnel of high schools, other secondary schools, and the community.
- Persistence in scheduling presentations and developing relationships.
- Consistent interpersonal and communication skills including public speaking to large and small groups.
- Proficiency in PowerPoint/presentation software and, computer (PC) skills are required.
- Must meet established performance goals.
- Bachelor's degree (preferred)
- Prior school admissions, teaching, and/or sales experience is preferred.
- Valid Driver’s License with good driving record.
- Frequent overnight (reimbursable) travel will be required.
- Experience using Salesforces or other CRM is a plus.
- Ability to obtain FBI clearances Maryland, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia
- Ability to obtain clearances to access schools in Pennsylvania, Ohio, New York and West Virginia

Salary : $38,000 - $42,000
