Position Summary: The Room Systems and Inventory Manager oversees room inventory optimization, reservation system management, and seamless coordination between sales, revenue management, and front desk operations. This role is dedicated to maximizing revenue by implementing strategic inventory controls, managing both transient and group bookings, and ensuring accurate system configurations for optimal hotel performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and optimize room inventory across all distribution channels to maximize revenue and occupancy.
- Ensure accurate implementation of sales strategies in the hotel’s reservation and inventory systems.
- Oversee group room blocks and reservations to ensure proper allocation and restrictions.
- Work closely with the front office, sales, and event planning teams to ensure smooth operations and seamless guest experience.
- Monitor and update room availability, restrictions, and system settings to align with hotel policies and industry best practices.
- Generate and analyze occupancy, booking pace, and revenue reports to make data-driven decisions.
- Address inventory-related issues and ensure guests receive accurate information about room availability and bookings.
Qualifications:
- Experience in hotel reservations, revenue management, or front office operations is a must
- Strong knowledge of property management systems FSPMS and MARSHA is preferred
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and implement strategies.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
