The Pittsburgh Penguins seek a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst. This role will contribute to key Business Intelligence and Analytics initiatives using data and technology and collaborate with other business operations stakeholders to analyze key business metrics. The position will focus primarily on ticket sales and fan data related initiatives to drive insights and identify revenue opportunities. The role is based in Pittsburgh, with the option of one (1) remote work day per week.

- Use technical and statistical methods to develop key insights and processes to support decision making across different business units including ticket sales, CRM, sponsorship, marketing, and digital.
- Utilize Tableau to create executive level dashboards
- Analyze fan related data as it relates to demographics, psychographics, behavior and historical trends
- Develop and apply statistical models to business processes
- Help facilitate A/B testing implementation and analysis
- Develop fan facing surveys and analyze survey data
- Own and maintain complex datasets with a focus on automated solutions
- Perform ad-hoc analysis as needed
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Analytics, Business, Economics or another Mathematical field
- At least one year of professional experience in a consulting, analyst, or similar role required (internship or full-time position)
- Programming experience (SQL preferred, R/Python a plus)
- Familiarity with business intelligence platforms (e.g. Tableau, Power BI, Domo, Excel)
- Experience working in a data warehouse environment and/or with relational databases
- Strong presentation skills and the ability to effectively communicate findings from complex data analysis
- Strong work ethic and professional decorum
