What are the responsibilities and job description for the Football Technology/Video Associate (Full Time/Post-Graduate) position at Pittsburgh Steelers?
This position is responsible for assisting the Technology Department in day-to-day operation with the football training facility in Pittsburgh. This position would work closely with the IT Dept and Football Video Department handling the day-to-day technical troubleshooting with multiple systems and devices. This position is also responsible for assisting the video department in shooting and editing video of practices, games, and player workouts for coaches. This position will be responsible for maintaining the video library and assisting with special coaching projects as needed.
Potential candidates would be required to work non-traditional schedules, and during football season weekends and holidays may be required.
The ideal candidate would be a recent graduate, with extensive experience working directly with a college football team performing many of the same job functions, a highly technical former individual with experience in football video shooting and editing.

Responsibilities & Duties:
- Work with IT staff to field basic trouble tickets and service requests
- Video all Steelers football games and practices during Training Camp, Preseason, Regular season, Post season, Mini camps and Organized team activities (OTA’s).
- Responding to and handling the organization’s Help Desk calls to completion
- Assist with support of desktop and laptop computers, telephones, cell phones, and mobile devices
- Work closely with Coaches and Scouts to assist with any video and computer needs
- Edit all video as required for NFL season, Practices, and College games.
- Create breakdown (cutups) reels for all in season weekly opponents and NFL draft preparation for college.
- Responsible for setup of cameras on Game day.
- Responsible for setup and maintaining of the meeting rooms in training camp, and during the season at Steeler facility, including Video screens, projectors, and computers.
- Managing and overseeing on Game Day Still shot (coaching still video system).
- Importing Pro and College games on the NFL CGE Network.

- Vast Experience with Catapult Thunder
- Basic knowledge of PC Hardware and troubleshooting hardware failures.
- Experience with Microsoft Office suite of applications.
- Experience supporting Microsoft Windows and Apple OSX/macOS.
- Knowledge and experience with the Adobe Suite of Products
- Experience working with a video department at the college leveling including use of camera in practice
- Be detail oriented and have excellent communication skills.
- Basic knowledge of computer networks (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS) and Wi-Fi.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and a desire to learn and implement modern technologies.
