We are looking for a Project Manager with 3-5 years of experience (or 6-8 years for Senior-level) to lead marketing and advertising projects. You should be comfortable managing and partnering with internal stakeholders and clients. Responsibilities include delivering projects on time and within the defined scope of work, resourcing creative, strategic, and technical team members, and managing timelines. The right candidate will have a background in business skills, digital technology knowledge, budgeting, and analysis. We are looking for candidates who are both assertive and empathetic and focused on solving problems and managing shifting priorities.
You will be the go-to on the execution of projects but will also see beyond execution to provide strategic insights. You will be responsible for the flawless delivery of projects on time and within budget and must be a highly collaborative team member.
General Responsibilities:
- Develops project timelines, generates estimates and tracks progress
- Schedules internal reviews and meetings as necessary
- Provides input to senior management on client plans, projects, and all deliverables
- Executes all projects on time, on budget, and to client expectations
- Manages project communications, including status reports, client feedback, and internal check-ins
- Brings teams together to actively solve current project demands, resolve any internal issues, or for proactive ideation
- Ensures all projects are properly resourced
- Completes weekly and monthly financial reporting on project profitability, revenue phasing, and resource allocation
- Organizes and oversees the QA process for all projects
- Manages vendor communications and budgets
Requirements:
- 3-5 years project management experience in a marketing agency environment (6-8 for senior-level)
- Proven track record of developing budgets and managing project timelines and resources so all projects are delivered on time and within budget
- Experience working on integrated campaigns and many different project types within an agency environment – print/direct mail, websites, email campaigns, media asset development, video/photo shoot production, brand launches, etc.
- Experience with PM software like Smartsheet, Monday.com, Mavenlink, JIRA, etc.
- Detail-oriented and extremely organized
- Ability to work and collaborate with counterparts (creative, developers, strategists) to ensure the team has what is needed in order to deliver accurate and quality work to our clients
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Experience with pharmaceutical clients is strongly preferred
