Pivot Onsite Innovations, a leading provider of innovative healthcare solutions, is seeking an experienced and self-driven Nurse Practitioner for a PRN position on an as-needed basis.
Job Overview:
This role will provide coverage as needed at our onsite healthcare clinic located in Coatesville, PA.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive patient care, including case management, physicals, clearance exams, injury assessment, and minor procedures.
- Conduct post-offer physicals and non-work-related medical clearance examinations to ensure employee safety and well-being.
- Offer urgent and episodic care to employees, providing prompt attention to their medical needs.
- Respond to in-plant medical emergencies and evaluate employees with acute episodic illness, referring when necessary.
- Assess, diagnose, treat, and provide ongoing medical management of workplace injuries and non-occupational conditions, including writing prescriptions and facilitating referrals in collaboration with the physician.
- Manage workman's compensation claims in conjunction with the employer representative and insurance carrier.
- Maintain compliance with OSHA and DOT programs such as hearing conservation, blood-borne pathogen training, random drug screening, and follow-up programs.
- Ensure accurate inventory management of medications and supplies within the healthcare unit.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in an occupational health setting.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- Current First Aid/CPR/AED certification.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Strong administrative and management skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Familiarity with manufacturing and production facility practices.
- Position may require proof of COVID-19 vaccination.
