Key Responsibilities
The LPN will be responsible for administering medication, taking vital signs, providing basic wound care, and giving injections of medication. Immunizations, medical histories, and entering information into computer systems are also part of the job duties. Additionally, the LPN will manage IVs, monitor fluid/food intake and output, move patients safely, and assess patient reactions to medications.
The LPN will also be responsible for scheduling appointments, keeping medical records current, writing prescriptions at a physician's request, and providing guidance to onsite personnel. Assisting with day-to-day issues and escalating accordingly to the Director of Operations and HR is also a critical aspect of the role.
