Key Responsibilities
The Industrial Athletic Trainer will be responsible for:
- Injury Prevention: Develop and implement strategies to prevent workplace injuries and illnesses.
- Ergonomic Evaluations: Conduct thorough evaluations to identify potential hazards and develop recommendations for mitigation.
- Health Education: Design and deliver educational programs to promote healthy behaviors and habits among employees.
- Treatment Coordination: Coordinate and implement treatment plans that incorporate exercise, modalities, and work conditioning as necessary.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in athletic training, with experience in injury prevention and ergonomic risk assessment. A Bachelor's degree in a related field and certification from the Board of Certification (BOC) are required. State licensure and current First Aid/CPR/AED certification are also essential.
