Pivot, a not-for-profit agency dedicated to improving the health of youth and families across the lifespan in our community through prevention, education, counseling and advocacy, in conjunction with Northern Regional Center for Independent Living, a professional peer-run organization working with people with disabilities while partnering with communities to create accessibility and inclusion, is seeking a full-time Accounting & Administrative Specialist to provide accounting and administrative support to multiple office sites. This individual must be highly organized and able to adapt to various settings.

Qualifications :

Associate's Degree in accounting, business administration, or related field

Skills :

  • At least two years' experience in office administration and general accounting / accounts payable.
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

    Education / Credential Requirements

    Associate degree in accounting, business administration or related field.

    Work Experience Requirements

    At least two years' experience in office administration and general accounting / accounts payable.

    Job Duties

    Enter invoices into the accounts payable system.

    Process payments.

    Maintain vendor records.

    Check and verify invoices.

    Prepare checks for payment.

    Take and disseminate minutes at all board of directors' meetings.

    Organize meetings for the Board of Directors.

    Maintain current Board of Director rosters and pertinent documents.

    Organize and update Microsoft 365 Board of Directors SharePoint site.
