Drive Fixture Development & Execution for a Fortune 500 Client
As a Project Lead – Fixture Initiative, you’ll oversee fixture development, procurement, and implementation, ensuring seamless execution from concept to rollout. This role requires strong project management skills to drive timelines, coordinate cross-functional teams, and optimize fixture solutions in alignment with business goals. You’ll lead vendor partnerships, manage key milestones, and identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining quality, brand consistency, and operational efficiency.
>What You’ll Do
Lead Fixture Project Management & Development:
- Oversee the end-to-end project lifecycle for fixture initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives and brand standards.
- Manage vendor relationships, negotiating deliverables and timelines to keep projects on track.
- Review manufacturing drawings, prototypes, and samples, ensuring quality, functionality, and cost-effectiveness.
- Partner with engineering, sourcing, merchandising, and operations teams to streamline fixture development and execution.
Ensure Timely Execution & Process Optimization:
- Develop and maintain project schedules, proactively identifying risks and bottlenecks.
- Lead fixture sample reviews and lab testing to ensure compliance with performance standards.
- Oversee direct import fixture reviews and support process improvements with business partners.
- Maintain fixture lab environments, ensuring efficient workflow for evaluations and approvals.
Drive Cost Savings, Innovation & Efficiency:
- Identify new vendor partnerships to enhance cost-effectiveness and innovation.
- Conduct competitive analysis and industry research to refine fixture development strategies.
- Work closely with internal teams to optimize materials, manufacturing methods, and sourcing strategies.
>What You’ll Bring
We’re seeking a highly organized project leader who thrives in a fast-paced retail environment.
- 3 years of experience in project management, ideally in retail, corporate, or design settings.
- 1–3 years of experience in fixture or furniture management, design, or testing.
- Strong background in coordinating projects, managing deadlines, and working cross-functionally.
- Experience interpreting manufacturer drawings, renderings, and fixture specifications.
- Bachelor’s degree in Retail, Business, or a Design-related field preferred.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Knowledge of ADA code is a plus.
Technical Skills:
- Preferred: SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Photoshop, SketchUp, PDF Pro.
