Job Overview
Pixalate is seeking an experienced and strategic Controller to lead our accounting operations and financial reporting. As a key member of the finance team, the Controller will be responsible for overseeing financial controls, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and driving process improvements to support Pixalate’s growth. The ideal candidate has a strong background in SaaS or digital advertising, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is passionate about scaling financial operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of global accounting, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and revenue recognition.
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in accordance with GAAP / IFRS.
- Lead the month-end and year-end close processes, including reconciliations, journal entries, and financial statement preparation.
- Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with financial policies.
- Manage tax compliance, including sales tax, income tax filings, and other regulatory requirements.
- Work closely with external teams, auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory agencies.
- Implement and optimize financial systems and automation tools to improve efficiency.
- Partner with FP&A to provide insights into financial performance and business strategy.
- Support fundraising, due diligence, and investor reporting efforts.
- Mentor and develop accounting team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
