The Manager is responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring the consistent application of standard operating procedures set forth by Experience Variety Group. Success in this role requires strong leadership, time management, effective communication, extensive knowledge of proper food handling, and advanced kitchen skills.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Leadership & Supervision: Actively manage and lead the team during shifts, ensuring all stations are adequately staffed and operational based on business demands.
- Scheduling & Staffing: Create and manage staff schedules to ensure optimal coverage. Assist in finding coverage for any missed or called-out shifts.
- Cross-Training & Development: Ensure team members are cross-trained across all areas of the kitchen to foster flexibility and coverage for all stations.
- Facility & Equipment Maintenance: Oversee the maintenance of kitchen equipment to guarantee cleanliness, functionality, and safety standards.
- Operational Standards: Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment, adhering to company standards and health regulations.
- Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels, place orders, and ensure timely restocking of supplies in coordination with the kitchen manager.
- Customer Experience: Uphold a positive, customer-focused environment in line with Experience Variety Group’s company culture.
- Event & Promotion Awareness: Stay informed of promotional items, events, and company-wide initiatives to ensure seamless integration into daily operations.
Must comply with all company policies and procedures.
To perform the essential functions of this position regular and consistent attendance is required.
Must be able to work well with other Team Members, Managers and interact with our guests.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Management Experience
LANGUAGE SKILLS
- Must be able to communicate with other team members and guest
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
- Knowledge and understanding of basic math
REASONING ABILITY
- Must be able to exercise judgment and make decisions based on job knowledge and awareness of company goals
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
