Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve high-quality coffee beverages, teas, and other menu items according to established recipes and standards.
- Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner, taking orders accurately and efficiently.
- Operate cash registers, handle cash transactions, and ensure accurate cash handling practices.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including equipment, utensils, and seating areas.
- Adhere to food safety guidelines and regulations to ensure the health and safety of customers.
- Assist with food preparation as needed, ensuring all items meet quality standards.
- Monitor inventory levels of coffee beans, syrups, pastries, and other supplies; communicate needs to management.
- Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment while providing excellent customer service.
Skills
- Strong food preparation skills with an understanding of food safety practices.
- Excellent time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks during busy periods.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing accuracy.
- Experience operating cash registers and handling cash transactions effectively.
- Background in food service or café environments is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail and quality service.

Pay: $10.00 - $12.35 per hour
