Job Overview
The Paint Prepper plays a crucial role in preparing metal parts for the painting process. Responsibilities include blasting, washing, and priming parts to ensure a high-quality finish. Assist with various tasks, such as assembly and caulking, to support the overall production process.
Job Responsibilities

Blast metal parts to remove rust, paint, and other contaminants. Wash parts in the wash bay to prepare them for the painting process. Prime parts to provide a suitable surface for the final paint coat.

Dip parts in paint tanks to apply a uniform coating. Repair paint damage on finished trailers.

Assemble parts according to instructions from the floor supervisor.

Caulk cracks and joints using pneumatic and hand-pump caulking guns.

Move materials and parts within the facility.

Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Follow safety procedures and quality standards.

Other duties, as assigned.
Education – Experience Required

0-1 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment.

Ability to lift up to 60 pounds consistently.
