Sewer / Water Line Inspector / Construction Manager
The Sewer Inspection I position is responsible for providing Quality Assurance and inspecting the Contractors work and ensuring that the work is in accordance with the Project specifications and drawings. The ability to report on the completeness of the constructed work.
Knowledge of :
- Standards and procedures pertaining to the inspection of wastewater system facilities
Standard construction techniques and materials used for sanitary sewer mains, laterals, manholes, siphons, and pump stations
Ability to :
Communicate clearly, concisely, and effectively, both orally and in writing
Understand and follow written and verbal instructions
Establish and maintain effective working relationships with those contacted in the course of work
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Graduation from high school or possession of a GED; and
Two (2) years of wastewater systems installation and maintenance experience, including at least one (1) year at a level equivalent to Water & Sewer Maintenance Worker II
