Position Overview :
Our client is seeking a motivated and skilled Construction Project Engineer to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting in the management and execution of construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and according to quality standards. Previous experience in data center construction is highly preferred. Key Responsibilities :
- Assist in the planning, execution, and monitoring of commercial construction projects from inception to completion.
- Collaborate with project managers, superintendents, and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery of projects.
- Provide on-site technical support and ensure construction activities comply with design specifications, safety regulations, and quality standards.
- Maintain and track project documentation, including submittals, change orders, RFIs (Request for Information), and daily reports.
- Support cost control and budget tracking activities to ensure projects are delivered within the approved budget.
- Coordinate with clients, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure clear communication and project alignment.
- Review project schedules and assist in addressing any potential delays or scheduling conflicts.
- Assist in preparing and submitting progress reports to senior management.
- Participate in site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with project plans and specifications.
- Help oversee quality assurance and safety programs on job sites.
