Our client is seeking a Revit/BIM Project Manager (5 years of experience, some hospitality experience required) to join their growing hospitality design firm.
We are seeking a passionate, collaborative, and experienced Architect/Architectural Designer who is also a CAD Revit expert to be our in-house BIM Manager.
This person will be responsible for refining and updating all office & project-type templates, families, and libraries – as well as providing active and direct assistance to Revit/CAD project teams. This person will also divide their time between participating as an active project contributor and providing firm-wide Revit leadership, assistance, and support.
Job Requirements
■ Updates system-wide BIM/CAD libraries with appropriate graphic assets from current building codes, energy codes, and requirements of regulatory agencies.
■ Enforce the usage of digital library templates and assets per office guidelines across all our projects.
■ Consistently applies Quality Control procedures and takes ownership of their work.
■ Develops and drafts architectural and engineering site plans, floor plans, building elevations, building sections, and details.
■ Contribute to the documentation, dissemination, and monitoring of standards, best practices, and industry advancements.
■ Participates in team meetings to help resolve project issues such as coordination, scheduling, and technical concerns.
■ Provide/source Revit/CAD training
■ Conduct intra-office coordination meetings relating to Revit/CAD
■ Research developments in the industry to “keep ahead of the curve” so that all our Revit users have appropriate tools & skillsets to be productive
Job Qualifications
■ Bachelor’s degree or completion of trade school or equivalent formal training
■ 6 years AEC working experience with at least 3 years in architecture firm
■ Ability to encourage and train effectively and tactfully
■ Extensive knowledge of Revit 2022 or newer version
■ Expert with AutoCAD 2022 or newer version
■ Expert in BIM project management
■ Knowledgeable in SketchUp & MS Suite preferred
■ Strong experience using industry standard CA software such as NewForma and/or ProCore; Proficiency in BlueBeam preferred
■ Advanced knowledge of code analysis, sustainability, and integrated design guidelines & requirements
■ Strong verbal, written and communication skills; reliable & predictable attendance required
■ Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
