The Information Technology Department (ITD) is seeking a motivated professional to join the Enterprise GIS Team!This position will work closely with departments across Placer County to develop GIS solutions, provide recommendations, and support both ArcGIS Online and ArcGIS Enterprise environments. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in GIS, with experience in managing SDE data, web services, ArcGIS Enterprise, and ArcGIS Online. The successful incumbent will demonstrate the ability to address complex business challenges and complete tasks with minimal supervision.Incumbents may perform any of the following functions: analyzes, designs, monitors and administers servers and related platforms; designs, maintains, configures and monitors network and/or telecommunications infrastructures and related system components; consults with departmental customers to identify and analyze business functions that can be improved by the implementation of new hardware and/or software solutions; translates business requirements into system deployments, including the development of design specifications; performs professional-level systems maintenance and customer support duties; and performs other related duties as assigned.Placer County offers a well-established telecommuting policy.To be considered for the first priority screening deadline, please submit your application materials by April 21, 2025 at 5:00pm.
