Your Mission: As a Regional Sales Manager in Stock Food, you will play a pivotal role in driving
growth strategy. You will be responsible for initiating and developing strategies in identified markets
to foster long-term relationships with strategic targets. You primary objectives will include identifying
new business development, nurturing and expanding existing customer relationships, delivering
sales growth, and gathering competitive intelligence in
Key Responsibilities:
New Business Development
1. Identify and close deals with new customers
2. Establish key relationships with decision makers and influencers
3. Communicate customer and market needs to Research and Development and new product
development teams.
4. Identify competitive response scenarios and strategy.
5. Support marketing plans and tradeshows.
6. Recommend new products or technologies to target markets.
7. Assist with project management activities through new product development process.
Grow/Maintain Customers
1. Conduct needs analysis and develop proposals.
2. Maintain account records, plans, and territory status reports
3. Develop and maintain account records, account plans, territory status reports and customer
information.
4. Develop forecasts and goals.
5. Manage and develop broker network.
Deliver Sales Growth
1. Deliver annual sales targets.
2. Assist in developing and executing pricing strategies.
3. Understand and sell value based pricing.
Gather Competitive Information
1. Identify technology trends and maintain industry technology knowledge in the areas of
materials, design, tool lead times, sustainability trends and process technologies.
2. Develop and maintain market knowledge and remain current on trends.
Perform duties as assigned by Manager.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering or related field.
5-10 years sales experience in a manufacturing setting
Have strong interpersonal and analytical skills.
Ability to travel for 70% of the time.
Be able to work under minimal supervision.
Proficiency in Customer Relationship Management software
Desired Skills (Not Required)
Knowledge of thermoforming, injection molding or other plastic forming processes.
Ability to lead, train and develop broker sales teams with a value-based selling platform.
Familiarity with consumer/retail products, packaging and distribution.
Strong organization and time management skills.
Excellent relationship building and maintaining.
Detail-oriented with an understanding of business and financial information.
Proficiency with:
Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Salesforce
Oracle
Presentation development and delivery.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 30lbs on occasion and 50lbs minimally.
