Bartender

The Plain Spoke Cocktail Company is a looking for a self motivated individual to bartend at our laser light, retro hued, neon loving, tasting room located on King Street in the heart of the First Settlement District in Downtown Madison.

Plain Spoke is a progressive cocktail company, obsessed with delivering the perfect experience and drink to our guests. Our tasting room is an extension of our distillery and overlooks vibrant and energetic King Street and provides an experience unrivaled in Madison with world class hospitality, laser lights and impeccable cocktails.

So what exactly are we looking for? YOU!

** You are personable and accommodate guests needs while quickly making drinks and creating the ideal experience for our guests.

** You can work swiftly on your feet for several hours at a time and lift 30 lb while running food up and down stairs to customers and clearing tables of glass and plateware.

** You're willing to learn and be creative to contribute cocktail creation. You're also able to learn all of the cocktails/food on the menu and even have a couple of off-menu cocktails up your sleeve.

** You understand that proper cash handling and age verification is not only part of the job but necessary to comply with alcohol and health regulations which keeps the lights on.

** You're prompt and responsible. You don't even understand what no-call, no-show means.

** You feel that cleanliness, proper sanitation and organization aren't just items on a checklist, but necessary for long term success.

** You're ok working nights and weekends
