- Collaborate with Principal to oversee and assist staff, students, and parents
- Knowledge and skills to improve instructional skills of staff
- Understanding of and ability to improve student learning and achievement
- Knowledge and administration of IAR preferred
- Knowledge of special education programs and services
- Knowledge of the MTSS process
- Maintain confidentiality of private, protected information when interacting with students, parents, staff and community members
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to interpret data; develop and implement improvement plans, monitor and adjust plans to increase student learning and achievement
- Assist with the interpretation of school policies and procedures for students, parents, staff and community members
- Maintain a strong level of knowledge regarding educational law, best practices as it pertains to managing a caseload of general education and special education students
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Principal
- State of Illinois Professional Educator License registered in Will County/Region 56
- General Administrative or Principal endorsement
- Minimum of 5 years of previous administrative or teaching experience at the elementary level is preferred
- Familiarity with the Danielson Framework for evaluation and certified as an evaluator using the state approves modules
- ELL and/or LBSI endorsement preferred
- Experience with IEP Plus is preferred
