Billing Specialist

PAMHC is seeking a full-time Billing Specialist. Location for position can be at any PAMHC office. This position will assist with insurance denials, rejections, and do follow-ups. Position is 40 hours per week Monday through Friday.

Pay Range

$18.40 to $20.52 depending on experience

Position Summary

This position primarily involves the duties of handling patient accounts; accounts receivable and charge reports, claims processing and adjustments for Medicaid, Medicare, and other insurance, collections, managing diagnostic and billing codes in billing software, verification of client insurance, following up on denials, and tracking EAP claims.

Requirements

• Valid Driver’s License and Insurance
• Detail Oriented

Preferred Qualifications

• Insurance billing experience
• Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid & Commercial Insurance
• Bilingual a plus, but not required
