- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience in related field.
- Industry related certifications a plus.
- 10 to 15 years experience preferred.
- Experience with Fiserv Precision and/or associated peripheral systems a plus.
- Microsoft SQL/Microsoft Power Bl/IBM Cognos Experience a plus.
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
- Effective problem solving and decision making skills.
- Time management and organizational skills.
- Manage, train, and mentor staff to become more proficient with the use of the available tools.
- Work directly with mortgage department managers to understand business goals, processes, and system needs.
- Organize and lead requirement-gathering sessions, interviews, and workshops to elicit functional and technical requirements.
- Develop comprehensive Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), User Stories, and Use Cases that accurately capture the project scope.
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications, ensuring clarity and feasibility for the development team.
- Act as a key point of contact between business units and technical teams to manage expectations and keep all parties informed.
- Participate in design discussions with technical teams to ensure proposed solutions align with mortgage business needs and compliance standards.
- Review and validate functional designs, test cases, and technical documentation to confirm adherence to requirements.
- Process Automation Assist in development of "efficiency procedures" to streamline daily end user tasks, third party integrations, and I.T. Operational processes.
- Facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT) and help resolve any defects or discrepancies.
- Provide regular status updates, project documentation, and issue reporting to ensure alignment and transparency.
