The Senior Operations Analyst leads the development and implementation of value-added updates to the Maximo, DataSplice, and Shareplus systems for PAA. Works with various stakeholder groups, including Field Operations and Maintenance, Technical Services, E&RC, and others, to define project scoping as needed.

Job Responsibilities
- Business Processes
- Documents business processes and ensure completeness and appropriate level of detail
- Troubleshooting /Testing
- Collaborates with, and guide, IT and external consultants to fulfill defined project scopes
- Directs the gathering and analysis of data from internal and external sources, leads team to identify errors and trends in the data, and create impactful methods to deliver observations
- Designs and implements testing to ensure required business functionality is ready for operational use.
- Improves written documentation of the Maximo, DataSplice, and Shareplus systems through creation and publishing of procedures.
- Training and Development
- Develops and mentors junior team members as well as creates and delivers training to corporate and field staff.
- Communications
- Leads regular engagements and discussions with Field Maintenance Planners.
- Provides support to Field Operations, Planners, and other groups as needed pertaining to the Maximo system.
- Works with all levels of management and Operations personnel
- Provides regular status updates to direct report and other various levels of management
- Maintenance and Administration of the Maximo System
- Maintains and administers the Maximo system in alignment with management guidance
- Collaborates cross functionally between Maximo and other IT Systems
- Works with user records and manages a list of work and affiliated regulations for entire PAA organization (Master PM and PM administration)
- Troubleshoots and supports Field Operations’ needs related to Maximo and DataSplice
- Bachelor’s degree in STEM or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a technical analysis or engineering role.
- Self-starter with the ability to seek help and solicits feedback when needed.
- Experience with Excel including applying advanced Excel functions and the ability to present complex data in an informative and illustrative manner.
- Experience with work order monitoring and reporting, location and Asset hierarchy and spare parts management
- Flexible, able to adapt to a change in work priorities and manage multiple projects with short turnaround time
- Strong communications skills and be able to function well on teams as well as demonstrate leadership as a mentor and in implementing systems across a broad organization.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to work with a wide range of coworkers.
- Demonstrates ability to plan, organize, direct, perform, review, and present
- Maximo, DataSplice, or other CMMS system administration experience
