Groundskeeper

Maintain grounds at Distribution Center and Manufacturing plant. This is an entry-level position that assists the installation and repair workers with daily projects and maintenance tasks including parts replacement, routine preventative maintenance, and building repairs.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Trash Removal from facility grounds.
• Building repairs include painting, woodworking, light fabrication.
• Mow grass and other light landscaping
• Unload trucks as needed.
• Move materials.
• Ensure and participate in compliance measures to meet GMP, HACCP, SQF and federal standards related to food safety and quality guidelines.
• Perform other comparable and related duties as assigned.

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

• High school diploma or equivalent, and post-secondary certificate in related field plus one year of experience, or any equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Good problem-solving skills and basic math skills.
• Ability to organize the tasks to be performed.
• Ability to use all basic hand tools that are required.
• Willing to work with or near blood.
• Ability to use Forklift and other applicable machinery.
• Must be self-motivated and be able to work with minimal supervision.

Physical Demands:

Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs., climb ladders, bend, twist and work at heights.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.50 - $19.50 per hour
