Project Overview
The Resilient and Sustainable Systems for Health (RSSH) plays a strategic role in ending HIV, TB, and malaria while helping countries prevent, prepare for, and respond to new pandemics like COVID-19 and future health threats. In Liberia, the GC7 and C19RM grants for TB, HIV, and RSSH under the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis, and Malaria (GFATM) focus on strengthening the health system. The project aims to support the Ministry of Health (MOH) in achieving measurable improvements in health system strengthening under the GC7 and C19RM grants. Through strong partnerships with the National Diagnostics Division (NDD), National AIDS Control Program (NACP), National Leprosy and Tuberculosis Control Program (NLTCP), and other key stakeholders, the approach focuses on building public health capacity and capability while fostering ownership and long-term sustainability. The project is led by Plan International (India) as the Principal Recipient (PR) for HIV and TB under the Global Fund in Liberia, supporting the Ministry of Health and its programs.
Job Summary
Under the supervision of Dy. Chief of Party – PSM Sr. Laboratory Advisor will be the focal point for Laboratory activities under both grants. In close collaboration with the Deputy Director – NDD, the Sr. Laboratory Advisor will be responsible for the overall strategic planning, coordination, and technical direction of laboratory activities to ensure quality-assured laboratory services for the beneficiaries.
