What are the responsibilities and job description for the Marketing Intern position at Planate Management Group?
Planate Management Group (PMG) is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) headquartered in Alexandria, Virginia, and Orlando, Florida USA with technical support centers in South East Asia and East Africa, that provide program management and facilities engineering services worldwide. Planate is a small business provider of planning, design, infrastructure management, technical consulting, engineering, and construction management services in support of the US Department of Defense (DOD) and its Service (Army, Air Force, Navy, Marine Corps) missions, along with other US federal agencies, all over the world.
Currently, we are looking for an Intern who will be assigned to work with our Marketing/Business Development Team. As an Intern, you will be responsible to work closely with our Marketing team to help execute campaigns and provide administrative support.
Key responsibilities:
- Help identify marketing trends and key opportunities for innovation
- Conduct market and event research
- Maintain a marketing database such as Nimble and partner’s databases
- Assist attendees to events
- Understand Planate product and brand
- Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
Qualifications To be successful in the role:
- College student pursuing Marketing, Business Management or related fields
- Strong desire to learn along with a professional drive
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- The ability to work as part of a team
- Must be creative and resourceful
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, Access, Excel, PowerPoint
