Are you a skilled Payroll Accountant with expertise in Deltek and ADP? Do you have a strong background in payroll processing and compliance for US-based clients? Join our client team as a Payroll Accountant and take on a critical role in ensuring accurate and timely payroll operations. This position is responsible for performing all payroll-related functions, duties and requirements for the company.
This position is contingent on the award of the project
Key Responsibilities:
· Maintain employee payroll records in Deltek CostPoint and serve as the maintenance administrator for Deltek E-time Collection.
· Maintain and update employee records including in Deltek and ADP Workforce Now
· Serve as the liaison between the client and the States for payroll, registration and tax filling issues
· Answer employee related questions about payroll and payroll disbursements
· Assist employees in accessing their E-timesheets and their web-based ADP pay statements
· Prepare and process payroll-related G/L and A/P entries
· Prepare monthly G/L reconciliations
· Reconcile employer’s quarterly federal tax returns, state unemployment quarterly contributions report and monthly state withholding taxes
· Assists with audits including 401(k) Pension Audits, Workers Compensation Audits, Year-End Audits and Government Audits
· Analyze and reconcile payroll related expenses such as 401 (k) employee contribution and employer match, federal and state withholding, FUTA, SUTA, etc
· Oversee fiscal year-end payroll process including W-2 preparation
Qualifications:
· 5 years of relevant experience with high-volume payroll processing using ADP Workforce Now or Payexpert74 and Deltek GCS CostPoint
· Knowledge of Deltek E-Time
· Extensive knowledge of both State and Federal wage and hour regulations
· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
· High proficiency in Excel and MS Word
