Job Title: Member Services Representative
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Member Services Representative to join our team at Planet Fitness.
Job Summary:
The Member Services Representative will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members, and guests, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service to members and guests, responding to their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Check members in, tour, and sign up new members, log amenities, and communicate updates and events to members and guests.
- Answer phones in a friendly manner and assist callers with a variety of questions.
- Conduct beverage or merchandise purchases on the point-to-sale system.
- Utilize the POS system to assist with new membership cards, change of address, and billing or payment questions.
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area and lobby, as well as regular facility cleaning and upkeep.
- Meet the physical demands of the job, including walking, standing, and lifting moderate amounts of weight.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Exceptional customer service skills and ability to interact in a positive and professional way with members and co-workers.
- Prior customer service experience preferred.
- Ability to obtain and maintain CPR/AED certification.
