Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated Health and Safety Coordinator to join our team at Planet Forward. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and fostering a Company-wide safety culture through safety training, risk assessments, and behavior modification programs.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in safety and health, with experience in developing and implementing quality, cost-effective programs in the area of Risk Management and Health & Safety Management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develops, coordinates, and implements quality, cost-effective programs in the area of Risk Management and Health & Safety Management.
- Develops safety training schedule and creates awareness and incentive programs to support safety initiatives.
- Establishes and maintains effective relationships with plant management teams regarding all security and safety issues.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in safety, engineering, mechanical engineering or related field and/or at least 3 years professional safety experience in a manufacturing/distribution environment.
- Bi-lingual Spanish/English required.
