Contract Duration : 10 Months
Pay Rate : $40-$52 / hr
Job Overview :
We are seeking an experienced Staff Structural Designer with 5 years of experience , proficient in Revit and familiar with building construction in the federal market . The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and be a U.S. citizen due to the nature of the work. Experience working with the Navy CAD standards is a plus. Some travel may be required throughout the year.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop detailed construction drawings for steel and reinforced concrete structures.
- Produce a full range of drawing production work, including design layouts and calculations .
- Execute designs for industrial, manufacturing, and federal projects , including new facilities and facility modifications.
- Perform 2D drafting and 3D modeling to develop engineering solutions.
- Prepare structural calculations, reports, and documentation .
- Interpret and apply design codes and specifications .
- Organize and maintain revisions of project drawings and related files .
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and designers to resolve design issues.
