What are the responsibilities and job description for the Survey Manager position at Planet Forward?
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team while fostering strong client relationships.
- Work as part of a survey team to meet project deadlines, fulfill client requests (both internal and external), and ensure production standards are met.
- Oversee and coordinate external survey subcontractors.
- Apply QA/QC processes to ensure the quality of final survey deliverables.
- Develop fee structures, draft, and review project proposals.
- Ensure all activities comply with company safety protocols.
- Maintain regular communication with team members and project managers to keep projects on track and meet client expectations.
Qualifications:
- Licensed Professional Land Surveyor (Indiana registration required).
- 5–10 years of surveying experience.
- Interest in acquiring licensure in additional states.
- Ability to solve complex problems effectively.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Committed to maintaining a safe work environment.
