The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care services using imaging technology. They will select appropriate equipment and supplies, perform quality control on completed studies, and assist radiologists and staff physicians as needed.
To succeed in this role, you should possess current knowledge of imaging technology and be certified as a Medical Sonographer through ARDMS. A graduate of an AMA-approved radiologic technology program is also required.
Key Responsibilities
- Selects proper technical factors according to established protocol and study requested
- Performs quality control on all completed studies prior to radiologist interpretation
- Assists radiologists and staff physicians as requested
- Maintains equipment viability through regular warm-up procedures and quality control
