We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Oncology and Hematology Nurse to join our team at Planet Healthcare. As a travel RN, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of patients and staff while gaining valuable experience in a dynamic medical oncology environment.
Responsibilities:
- Providing high-quality patient care to adult and geriatric patients with various diagnoses, including cancer and other complex medical conditions
- Administering medications and treatments, including chemotherapy and blood products
- Monitoring patient vital signs and responding to changes in condition
- Communicating effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to coordinate care
- Participating in unit-based quality improvement initiatives and contributing to a positive work environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in an oncology or hematology setting
- Bachelor's degree in nursing and current RN licensure
- ONS certification and EPIC experience highly desirable
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment
