Digital Asset Manager (Production)
Location : Remote but local to Culver City only
Duration : 12 months
Pay : Up to $56.50 / hr, DOE
Planet Interactive is looking for a Digital Asset Manager to join our well-known Fortune 500 client on a 12-month contract.
The Content Design team conceptualizes, crafts and builds the content experiences for some of Brand's most visible products. This role will oversee a DAM program for the team and establishing workflows for multiple teams using creative asset management software. The ideal candidates have a proven track record of creating resilient systems that can evolve alongside business needs.
The Digital Asset Manager will be working along side teams of Designers, Editors, and Producers to understand assets from external and internal partners; or conversely create original content for featuring and publication. The ideal candidate for the role relishes in the details of the production design process and will be at the epicenter of these two worlds ensuring assets moving through the production design process are accessible to all relevant parties.
Responsibilities :
- Collaborate with Frameworks manager
- Define, manage and track schedules and execution
- Identify and prioritize and pivot project tasks, gauge risks and be abreast of project health at any time
- Translating needs of multiple teams to capabilities of asset management platform or informing feature development
- Establishing multiple team file and folder taxonomies, setting up workflows, and pipelines within asset management software and systems.
- Partner with Creative Infrastructure team to create user stories and feature requests that would be prioritized with engineering teams
- Ensuring integration of asset management system with other systems.
- Participate in formal User Acceptance Testing
- Assisting with data migration planning and team on-boarding.
- Assisting with User and Group permissions models related to teams and workflows.
- Author documentation and provide periodic training sessions.
- Ability to create and execute communications with a template driven mentality.
- Verifying user reported anomalies in production environments, and escalating accordingly.
- Collaborating with other Project Managers on tracking standards and protocol.
