Planet Interactive's rapidly growing FinTech client is seeking an Employee Relations Specialist with experience in ensuring smooth and first-class employee experience when support is required and supporting program operations, for a 9 month assignment starting April 2025.
In this role, the Employee Relations Specialist will provide critical support for managing our day-to-day employee experience service desk requests, hotel rooming lists and assisting employees with their requested changes and updates for the employee events.

Employee Relations Specialist Responsibilities
- Manage and respond to EWX requests in Jira, escalating issues as needed and maintaining up-to-date documentation on standard procedures.
- General operational support: Assist in various ongoing EWX Operations tasks including but not limited to event coordination, employee experience enhancements, and logistical support.
- Manage hotel rooming lists and employee requests: Serve as the primary point of contact for employees needing updates or changes to their offsite hotel reservations.
- Oversee room block logistics: Coordinate with hotels to track room block availability, handle reservation adjustments, and address last-minute changes while ensuring alignment with company policies.
- Ensure a first-class employee experience: Provide responsive, high-touch support to employees navigating the Offsite programs RSVP and hotel process, proactively resolving concerns and offering clear communication.
- Collaborate with vendors and stakeholders: Work closely with hotels, internal teams, and the Employee Workplace Experience EWX team to ensure accurate rooming lists, confirmation details, and smooth check-in processes.
- Maintain and update documentation: Standardize responses and resources for the People Operations team to address common employee lodging questions effectively.
- Experience in operational support, such as event logistics, hotel room block management, or travel coordination.
- Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to manage complex tasks and last-minute changes efficiently.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on clarity and customer service.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, juggling multiple requests while maintaining a high level of organization.
- Proficiency in Jira, Slack, Google Workspace, and other relevant project management tools.
- Background in hospitality, travel coordination, venue management, or general operations.
- Experience supporting large-scale bookings, corporate lodging programs, or operational logistics.
- Ability to develop process documentation and scalable workflows for improving operational coordination processes.
Salary : $35
