Planet Interactive is seeking a Podcast and Virtual Event Studio Producer to join an in-house agency for a well-known pharmaceutical company.
The Podcast and Virtual Event Studio Producer will manage the day-to-day production of two professional studios, producing high-quality podcasts and virtual training events, and delivering exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
Pay : $35-$37 / hr depending on experience
Location : 100% onsite in Mettawa, IL
Podcast and Virtual Event Studio Producer Responsibilities :
Operate and maintain audio / visual equipment in two corporate studios to deliver high-definition (HD) podcasts and virtual training events.
Quickly troubleshoot equipment and technical issues during live events to ensure seamless production.
Proactively manage mobile studio set-ups for off-site or remote production needs.
Ensure studio is stocked with back-up or replacement equipment.
Collaborate with reporting manager to design, produce, and execute engaging podcasts and training events.
Provide professional, friendly, and solution-oriented customer support before, during, and after events.
Move, store, and maintain studio equipment to ensure its functionality and condition.
Oversee the organization, distribution, and maintenance of home studio kits for remote stakeholders.
Assist in producing videos and other multimedia content to enhance communication and training initiatives.
Assist in developing defined processes and provide suggestions and feedback to management for improvement.
Expertise and confidence producing small to large scale events in Teams and Zoom both in studio and as a remote producer. Proficient in breakout rooms, pre call settings, mic management, camera management.
Coordinate studio schedules weekly with manager and adjust work hours to meet event production needs while adhering to a 40-hour work week.
Podcast and Virtual Event Studio Producer Qualifications :
Demonstrated passion for working with professional audio / visual equipment for HD recording and broadcasting.
Proficiency in troubleshooting, setup, and operation of studio technology under time-sensitive conditions.
Be proficient in high-end camera, lighting and audio equipment RODE Caster, SHURE, RODE mics, ATEM, SONY HD Cameras, PTZ cameras (specific examples).
Focus on delivering polished, error-free productions while managing multiple tasks simultaneously. We respect that technical issues do happen, however a passion for preparation, testing and adjusting in-production are our way or working.
Strong interpersonal communication skills : ability to understand and meet the needs of internal executive management.
Quick-thinking and innovative when addressing unexpected challenges during live events or productions, although we do emphasize preparation and testing prior to events.
Comfortable moving and storing equipment as required.
Due to studio traffic, vacuuming and cleaning is needed weekly or between larger events.
