Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Preschool Director to help lead our new expansion building that will be opening soon. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in early childhood education administration and demonstrate excellent leadership skills. This individual will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our preschool program, ensuring that our students receive a high-quality education and our staff are supported and motivated. The ideal candidate would be able to work well with our current leadership team and bring expertise in the Infant and Toddler age range.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of our preschool program, including curriculum development and implementation.
- Manage and develop a team of preschool teachers, providing coaching and mentoring to ensure that our staff are equipped to a magical Preschool experience.
- Ensuring that we are operating efficiently and effectively.
- Collaborate with our education administration team to develop and implement strategic plans that align with our organization's overall mission and goals.
- Educate and communicate with parents, providing regular updates on their child's progress and addressing any concerns they may have.
- Foster a positive and supportive school culture, ensuring that our students, families, and teachers feel valued and included.
- Manage and maintain our preschool facilities, ensuring that they are safe, clean, and well-maintained.
- Develop and maintain partnerships with local organizations and community groups to enhance our preschool program and provide additional resources for our students.
Skills:
- Must hold Director's Credential
- Top Tier Customer Service skills.
- Experience in Preschool classroom management
- Proven leadership and management skills in a large preschool setting.
- Strong ability to multitask in large Preschool.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to develop and implement strategic plans.
- Passion for education and a commitment to providing high-quality educational experiences for young children.
- Ability to manage and lead a team of educators.
- Familiarity with early childhood education best practices and standards.
- Experience with Procare, Frog Street Curriculum, School Readiness, a plus!
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Up to $21.00 per hour
