Our client is seeking an experienced Automation Engineering Consultant to oversee the installation of their innovative device designed to enhance manufacturing line efficiency. This role involves extensive travel to sites across the United States, with consultants being compensated for travel time as part of their 40-hour workweek. The consultant must be based near a major airport to reduce travel times.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage electricians performing installation work.
• Ensure proper hardware installation and electrical work.
• Provide technical assistance and troubleshooting during installations.
• Maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service.
  
  

Requirements

• Strong familiarity with hardware installation and electrical work.
• Knowledgeable in IoT and PLC systems.
• Excellent communication and people management skills.
• Ability to understand and troubleshoot hardware systems.
• No coding required but must understand the system.

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
