JOB SUMMARY
The Human Resources Coordinator will provide a full range of HR support across multiple functions to ensure effective and consistent administration of Human Resources systems and programs. The role assesses and anticipates HR-related needs and builds partnerships with staff and across departments to deliver high-quality HR services that reflect the values and objectives of PPCCC.
Temporary Position
Schedule: 40h/week
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
· Processes all new and terminated employees in the HRIS System (Currently ADP Workforce Now). Ensures all employee forms are completed and updated as required. Process all new hires and terminations using applicable forms and communicate with IT and Facilities necessary information.
· Processes employee changes in the HRIS system, including transfers, promotions, and other employee changes.
· Processes background checks and employee eligibility verifications.
· Provide human resources onboarding to all new staff in order to welcome them to the affiliate in accordance with our On-Boarding/Training Program.
· In collaboration with the HR team assist in the implementation, maintenance, and updating of HR forms, processes, and policies.
· Responsible for tracking employee health screening and vaccinations as required per the Health Screening and Vaccinations policy.
· Completes the onboarding process for Volunteers, and Medical Trainees including background checks, onboarding documentation, and data entry into the database system.
· Assists the Payroll team and HR Generalist to review and approve biweekly payroll.
· Prepare and send weekly HR update emails and other office email distributions.
· Other duties as assigned by the VP of Human Resources
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
· Two (2) to four (4) years of Administrative office experience
· Professional certification in Human Resource Management or Business Management is a plus
· Bilingual English & Spanish required
· Ability to respond effectively to sensitive inquiries or concerns.
· Excellent computer skills including Excel and Word
· Experience with HRIS web-based systems is a plus
· Candidate must travel within the PPCCC geographic area when needed (Thousand Oaks to San Luis Obispo)
· Other duties as requested

Each position has a salary based on market value and the organization’s pay levels. The starting salary for this position is $30.05 with the opportunity for advancement. As part of our commitment to pay equity, PPCCC does not negotiate salaries.
Pay Differential: $1.00/hour bilingual Spanish/English differential pay is offered upon passing the language assessment test.
