As a International New Business Sales, you’ll play a pivotal role in expanding the reach of our Planon Universe for Service Providers. You’ll identify growth opportunities, cultivate meaningful relationships, and establish a strong presence across North America. You will make an impact by leading strategic business development initiatives to achieve ambitious revenue growth. This means you will build new opportunities from scratch, breaking new ground and capitalizing on a large, untapped market.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a business development plan focused on service providers, particularly in hard services and smart building solutions.
- Build and maintain a strong network, staying informed about industry trends like IT innovation and smart building technologies.
- Deliver persuasive presentations and product demos to potential clients.
- Create strategies to enter new markets and drive sustainable growth.
- Prepare commercial proposals and close deals
- Manage CRM records effectively according to Planon’s golden rules.
Profile
We’re looking for an entrepreneurial professional who thrives on building success from the ground up. You excel in client engagement and foster trusted business partnerships. The ideal candidate meets the following criteria:
- 3–5 years of success in selling complex software solutions, with a strong network in the service provider market, particularly in hard services.
- Eager to learn, adaptable, and willing to grow alongside our company. You see opportunities and take the initiative to build something new.
- Challenger sales: able to challenge prospects and effectively “sell the vision.”
- A self-starter and natural relationship builder.
- Willingness and ability to travel regularly across North America.
- Preferably based on the East Coast due to collaboration with the Netherlands.
