Position type : Non-Exempt
Mi-Tech Tungsten Metals is hiring a cost estimating and planning engineer.
This position will be responsible for accurate cost estimates and RFQ's and develop work order material and manufacturing process for new products based on customer requirements.
Responsibilities :
- Review customer specifications and quality requirements for special requirements or processes
- Create Bill-of-Materials (BOM), Production Routings (Travelers), and Tooling requirements for cost estimates
- Process new Sales Orders. Create and review production documentation to assure the accuracy of Production Floor Travelers per customer specifications and / or regulatory and quality requirements
- Review Customer Change Requests, evaluate cost and delivery impact. Notify Sales and incorporate changes as necessary
- Review and disposition Engineering Change Requests
